I like the watch and had they used a eta 2892 there would be no question about price imho($1265.-$1450.????)....the Russian Slava S-2427 although a discontinued movement is a proven workhorse that can stand up to abuse and the Patriot would be a nice addition to any dive watch collection imho...only drawback would be parts,(or if the movements were not serviced prior to sale) if any warranty or after sale repairs would be needed,and the main reason I would not use this movement...I look forward to checking one out if there is a lower pre-order/introductory price or 1 being unloaded on the forums...... http://www.christophlorenz.de/watch/movements/s/slava/slava_2427.php?l=en
