Great review of a great watch from Seiko, Grahamhand6.gif. I have held this exact same watch in my hands a couple of times and the sparkling finish of the steel is something else.

The chrono hands are way cool for me the way they are even with the broad hour and minute hands. The shapes of the chrono hands remind me a lot about a fish finder's beacon. I also think the beveled date window edges blend well with the fulcrum trapezoid of the chrono hands. It's great that Seiko used a black date disk with white numbers.

As for the ion coating, I am sure it will last. The same ion coatings on my monsters and other Seiko 5s really hold well versus all those daily bumps and dings.

Go for the Spring Drive nextyahoo.gif. Big Congrats on this monster chrono!!!
