That bezel on your Sea Angler looks like it has received some custom treatment...there appears to be more "relief" / "depth" to the black bezel insert texture relative to the numbers...did you customize this?....looks great!!!
Yes. I had a doorframe accident which put a huge dent in the plastic bezel filler. I removed that, and considered leaving the bezel bare. I couldn't get the finish even so I used several coats of enamel spray paint, followed by several more of clear enamel.
I'm thinking of sanding the clear coat off of the indicies of the bezel and re-polishing them. I would not recommend removing this bezel; it isn't easy. Glad you like the look!
Wow...I can imagine that was a project that ended up being more than you bargained for, but the result looks great and I'm a sucker for relieved indices in a dive bezel (reference the DWATCH Sting Ray for that type of bezel...done very well).
Thanks for the tip regarding the bezel...I am about to put a new crystal in my Lume Dial SA (or I should say, have a watch maker do it). I am assuming that they will have to remove the bezel to put the new crystal in...anything specific I should warn the watch maker about?
Thanks,
Chris
