Same dilemma here, but I have an incoming Seamaster, and I paid far less than what I thought I would.

If you spend enough hours in the sales forums and you act quick, you can get very good deals. For me as well, the Omega was new waters, so I did not want to go "full price" and pay more than what I did for my 4 most expensive watches combined, and potentially ending up less satisfied than with my previous watches.

If I love it as I think I will, great. If not, I can flip it fast w/o a major (or any) loss. The seller got twenty something PM's for buying the watch after I pulled the trigger...
