Every Chase-Durer I have purchased has been top knotch. I have not purchased anything under $500 which may make a difference. They no longer associate with the one place they did. I of course can only speak for myself. I do not have anything quartz that is not at least an ETA 251.262 which I think is and incredible movement for my needs. Most I have are automatics and all say Swiss Made which I know only gives me a 51% guaranty. I Chase-Durer was one of the last companies to use some of the non swiss movements in there much lower models. I do not know nearly as much as many of you guys about watch standards but I think Chase is an exception with the quality I have received.
