I based my opinion on the Abyss I owned...great looking watch but the overall build was cheap....no matter how I tried to size the bracelet it always had kinks in it and was unconfortable....secondary problem was when the minute hand crossed the hour it would always hang until it was given a tap...I sent it in and it was repaired prompltly but this again was a QC isuue....now this was considered their top of the line at the time at $1000. .....I finally sold it after some time and got $400. ....2 weeks later the guy I sold it to had it up FS.....the bracelet pins were like tiny wires that bent easily so my experience was that the watch was just cheap Asian even though it said Swiss Made we all know the HK factories that build these watches offer a "Swiss Made" service and I heard this from a very good source that they are built in HK....compared to other brands in the same price range I would say the CD was well below in build quality....
...take away the value pays and most of you guys would not be buying these watches imo as you only have the 1st payment set on your mind as it is said over and over again so the brain only process' that 1st dollar amount and not the full price...outside of Slopnbc I have not seen these watches sold nor discussed as anything more than what I originally stated...there are much better watches in that price range imho....I agree the posters problem was with the seller and not the brand .hand6.gif
