Just a point on Dr. Miller's purchase of his red Tiffany Sub in 1974 for US$445....my dad in 1956, to mark his wedding day, bought a Rolex GMT1, the pepsi, for an unbelievable price of about US$200. He's 82 now and he still remembers how much he paid for it back then. Well a year after the purchase of that pepsi, bigrustypig was born.

In stark contrast, about 2 months ago, I had my wife's 2 tone DateJust serviced for its 2nd 5 year service sked and I paid almost exactly US$200 and all she got was the servicing, a few rubber gaskets and some pieces of steel
