these are cool watches NB and were very popular 6-7 yrs. ago ...you can still find some NOS FS under $100. I like the hands and still have a few different SK models under the bed....google Orient SK Crystal or model 469617 Jeff...they came with different color variations on the outer ring as well and I still prefer these vintage 70's models that had acrylic crystals and the reproductions that have hardlex crystals that came around again in the 90's to the new Orients and they are a great buy imho and a great example of the big watch craze of the 70's...TY for sharing NB! hand6.gifhand6.gif
WOWZA! Thanks for the lodes of info, O! I'll research this a lot more. 6-7 years ago, I was still on Seikos/Citizen as a preferred Japanese brand and because I wasn't a forum member, had zero/zilch/zippo info on the other brands. I knew Orient was there but was averse to a purchase error. I'm glad ND posted this and my eyes are even open some more. Need to also talk to some old watchsmiths and see what they share with me.
