.My own story was one evening about 4 years ago in Nanking Road at the Bund area in Shanghai. These guys were peddling all sorts of fakes hidden inside their trenchcoats. Almost all prices of the fakes were the same except for a Patek Philippe which looked like an IWC Mark XIV, which was priced about 25% higher. I asked the guy why it was higher when it was as fake as the rest---and with a look of shock on his face he replied: "because it's Patek".
