Sorry, I did not get that he only wanted ETA watches, but thought he was trying to make a good homage. The hands made for the ETA 28xx will fit any Seiko Automatic movement. So if he already has them, he can use them. The dial probably is also the same size which normally is around 28mm or 28.5mm. This can be installed on any movement, with some skills...
For that matter, he could even use the Orient Sub as that movement also uses the same hands and the dial can probably be adjusted to fit on it.
These would be quality homages too as they are pretty good watches...
Just trying to open some more doors to the project with different options... If not interested at all, then sorry... But I think it is worth the thought.
FYI ....Chris/Oldecrow is a watchmaker and has worked on many a WIS watches including mods and repairs for members on many forums......I would kindly suggest you get acquainted with some of knowledgeable WIS here by reading the forum and using the search engine ...hand6.gif
