As for your posts being deleted maybe ask Paxman.

I would take it to awatch maker and get the stem replaced and the timing adjusted, personally I would not try and stop a watch with a magnet as you may magnetize other parts of your watch and cause resistance etc, then you will need to get it de-magnatized and have it adjusted anyway. As for your posts being deleted maybe ask Paxman. Hope this helps. ND
