Thanks, Mark. You are absolutely right. I missed the small verdana font 2 at the bottom of the Vampirical's post.
Then Skip's poke that yielded no response from them. And then again your follow-up poke, too. Still no response from the new owners. I guess all I wanted to know from the new owners is what's in store for a small 3 unit Debaufre' collector like me.
Important to me would be to know if this new group is simply a strategic new investor that will a) stand behind the brand long term, b) fully support its warranty obligations, no matter how contingent they may be, c) whether development of current models will be sustained and; d) will the ownership stake be flipped again? Or is this a dyed-in-wool group of watch lovers also committed to stability in ownership and most of all, to quality and everything that their website says so.
I guess I might be the odd man out or the terd in the punchbowl out but I take my watches very seriously and as important as the watch's features and bells and whistles --- is the spirit and ownership behind the brand.
