Yes the pilot would be great, I saw a Seiko Automatic Discusburger which looked cool but not as big as you want. With it having to be automatic the pilot I would agree is the best choice really. If it needs to be cheap maybe a Parnis, I have recently got one of these and I am very impressed, have a look at new arrivals.
