Here is a nice movement based on the 7001, and a pic of the "his" movement for reference. I guess that a replacing movement for the watch in the picture would be "slightly" more expensive than what I paid...

I like the idea of assembling a watch... would have to be a thin one to be able to take advantage of that aspect of the movement. Even bluing some screws...

Wow, that's a pretty small movement...I think the 6497 is around 36mm...might be hard finding a case that small
