Hello all!! Yesterday I had an sms on my mobile: "The watch is ready!". I got a watchmaker in my town and he build watches for me. This one was a long waited project as after choosing all ingredients( It took me time to agree with myself...) , I couldn't wait offcourse to see the result.
Just as I presumed, it was a winner...
The case was custom made in Germany, the dial and hands are from the famous Bill-Yao at MIIK.
I had planed a 2824-2 ETA for it: A tip-top silver machine with anti-shock system or incabloc.
The case made of bead-blasted stainless-steel was a nice surprised with a domed sapphire glass with anti-reflect coating inside, dust shield/shroud covering totally the movement, screw back and crown.
A little gap between the shield and the case back, allowed my watch-maker to sit a suspension ring who would absorbe shocks on the movement. He also set some powerfull orange lume on the bezel dot.
Over that, I made myself some black seal skin straps on orange stitches.
To situate dimensions, case is 44mm diameter and 18.5mm thick from back to top crystal with 22m lugs. The all watch look a bit bigger due to the 53mm between the massives lug to lug tips.
I love it: Let's have some pictures to enjoy that unique custom piece!!yahoo.gif
