1. A magnet should not be used anywhere near a watch. It can ruin it. If you used a magnet on your watch or watches, that will certainly cause a malfunction. 2. Just in case you don't know, you can not manually wind most Seiko watches. The crown is only for setting the date and time. It is not a winder in this case. 3. If there is a language issue or lack of understanding the terms, you did the right thing by stating so above. It helps. 4. Sorry for your problems.
