I'm not so sure if it's related or not. But I had a Tissot PRS 516 stop working few years back when Australia still allowed to shoot 40Cal. The Tissot was my daily watch then and I was very active on IPSC shooting using 40Cal. Also I had a D'freemont running 20 minus fast about a year later which I used to wore it for shooting too. I solemnly wear watch when shooting now. But may be just my bad luck cos these are the only two watches I have problem in my collections.
Sang, must have been your hairspring. If you'd usually shoot dominant hand only, there'd be no problems but if you tried weak hand, I'd guess that's where the cause of the problem was. 40 can kick quite a bit.happy1.gifThe 2 handed-grip may also be a cause but maybe not as logical as weak hand shooting. I'm assuming you're right handed---based on your posts.
