Brotha G I think this Link sent to me by Fellow 3T member DaveD will explain it better than I could :P...also I have included a Pic of My Vintage 1971 Astrographic SST which were 17j autos..the newer versions use the 2824-2...I removed the Seconds Dot Disc as it was faded and the Dial wasn't clear...the Mystery of the Dial is quite simple...there are 3 Clear discs for the seconds dot on top the minute hand second and the hour hand last...all are just revolving discs that give the appearance of floating hands...very Cool but nothing like the Very High End Vincent Calabrese Mystery Watch...I hope this helps and TY to Dave for sending me the Link

Didnt know they had a 2000 version unless your thinking of the Square version which i nthink is much smaller than the round case but dont quote me on this as im not exactly sure. Can you show me what your talking about Brotha O:cool:
