I just picked up a new Victorinox Swiss Army Ambassador, my first hand wind. It used the Unitas 6498-1, if the seller copy was accurate; I'm sure one of you movement experts will know for sure. I love the detail on the satiny silver dial, and the seconds dial at 6. The inner 24 hour track is a waste, as most of it is missing, and is the only fault I can find. The case is 45mm across, 11mm thick and 51mm end to end of the nicely curved lugs. The crown is large-ish at 5mm x 6mm in diameter, and signed. Case sides are brushed with the bezel polished. The strap is very nice leather and the typical odd size of 23mm; but a 24 fits nicely. Have a look- ![]() ![]()
