Welcome to 3T peterinwa I would buy the tool ...in the long run it will pay for itself as most Watch Batteries run around $3 ...or if You have a Zales Store in Your local mall they have a $12 Lifetime Battery deal as I think most Mall Jewelers now have Hello,
I'm happened upon this forum by accident, but I have a question!
I remember when Swatch watches were popular and you could use a coin to open up the back and change the battery. I swore I'd never buy a watch that didn't have that feature again.
So now I've been given a $50 watch and it costs $10 everytime I need to have the battery replaced! Actually I have one watch I can pop the back off of, but this one takes that little tool to get a grip on the back to unscrew it.
My question is... would it be worth it to buy that tool and then I could change batteries for myself and friends for the rest of my life!
Thanks so much,
Peter
