I am getting a lot of emails about the bracelet not being an option. So here is some inside info into why we made this decision.

1. The first Moray case and bracelet was made by a different factory. We are re creating the case of the Moray 2 with a new factory, we would have to re design and build a bracelet from scratch with a large minimum order.

2. Most people removed the bracelet on the Moray 1 and used custom straps. Believe me it was a nightmare with the Loc-Tite that the factory put on the lug bars, I was flooded with emails of frustrated customers damaging their watches and breaking screws trying to remove the bracelet. I put a lot of hours and shipping cost into having people send in their watches so I could take the bracelet off for them. The last few dozen Morays I personally loosened and replaced the screws before I shipped the watch and I asked the customer if they even wanted the bracelet on when I shipped it.

3. Creating a new bracelet at this time, with the added features of the new Miyota 9015 movement and the new 1000m case with auto HRV would increase the cost too much, I would estimate $100-$150 more and our goal is to have these near $500 not $700 (The 9015 is 3x the cost of the 8215 in the Moray 1). Our goal is to build the best quality watch possible and keep the cost for the customer down as low as possible.

4. The lug bar and screw design is going to be different, this is a detail that is subject to change and what I was referring to about details that could change. The screw bars are problematic, many people are damaging their watches and loosing screws. We are looking into a new lug bar set up. This is one reason that the old bracelets will probably not fit on a Moray 2.

5. The Moray watch case is perfect to use with custom made leather straps, rubber straps from many manufacturers, nato, zulu, and about anything that you can find in 24mm, so there is no shortage of straps out there. I personally have never had the bracelets on my 2 Morays.
