Brice, just to help you out amigo....I think both the Kobold and Kremke are ok and so are the Kazimon, the Artego and the Crux. Of course, all things equal, I think the ETA 2824 or 2824-2 is better than the Miyota at this stahe. Our passion for watches is for the pure passion and for the fun of having the watch itself.....considering the resale value, however hypothetical, is very far down my table of considerations. I generally buy for keeps. I guess what I am saying is simply this: buy it if you like it and if you are happy with it, then the value to you is high and in all likelihood you paid the right price for it. But just as a rough, very rough rule, a boutique brand with all the bells and whistles on steel on a 2824 or 2924-2 can only make my wallet listen if it doesn't breach the US$1,000 mark. Beyond that, historic and international brand value comes into the equation and then resale value is determined by all that the brand does. The market is always perfect. It may be brutal, but it's almost always perfect.
