I have a Movado Museum watch that I never wear. I got it as a gift 20 years ago and thought that it was the shiznits and wore it all the time. After the watch bug bit me and I started in on the automatics I haven't strapped it on. The battery has been dead for four years I bet.
You might want to pop out the battery as it can corrode and ruin the contacts, etc. It is still a nice watch.
