 The all question is how is made your wrist. If you have a wide but not so thick wrist, you will wear better a big watch than someone who have a thick and not so wide wrist, for the same perimeter...
I have only a 7.5 inch wrist but wider than thick: 63mm X 47mm (2.5'' X 1.9'').
The fact that my wrist is 63mm wide, gives me opportunity to big watches.
