I think not.
Let's face it, as compulsive watch hounds we lose something. We have no watch identity. Remember you Grandpa? He wore that Hamilton every day. Or the gym teacher with his Casio? We've lost that by changing out watches daily and sometime muliple times during a day.
Can you tell me one watch which you identify strongly with you?
That is a solid point Mark! And before my affliction, my older children would identify me with my Tag Heuer 1500. Now a days they can't keep up with my, rather small, inventory but they always remember my Tag.
