That sure is more an apples to apples comparison. What's funny is that the poster touts the Fricker case by stating: One of their most successful designs was the very collectable PRS Dreadnought. With only 100 of these Korsbek OE’s manufactured, in the future these may well join the ranks of the Dreadnought. Fricker case designs are designed and made with ultimate precision and are sturdy as a tank.

Will, Eddie got magic in a bottle with the Dread and it has simply become one of the iconic modern dive watches. The fact is the market has supported the inflated prices. Will Korsbek fair the same? Personally I get tired of people looking for and declaring the next Dreadnought. It was and is one of a kind imho.

This seller just try a selling trick who works most on investors wannabee.
Honnestly Mark, I never looked for the next Dreadnought because not 100% of the Dread´ satisfies me and I would not have designed it exactly like that if it would have been my call...
Buying a Korsbek in hope that it become a new Dread´ is just good for value speculators: Not me.
I like this Korsbek but think that it still miss something
and have the same impression about the Dread.
I'm attracted by watches who fill up my desires: Iconics or not.
A watch is made iconic by the others: Not by me...I've never been a "follower" even if I like some of those watches.
Also, the first Dread´ design by Eddie was far from the definitive one, look here:http://www.prs2dreadnought.com/design.htm
From my point of view, Fricker had a major influence in the design...
