The Irreantum Magellan in orange arrived this afternoon in a sturdy Seahorse waterproof box. After unwrapping multiple layers of cellophane I was ready to get at this oh so familiar looking watch. One note, I was surprised there was no paperwork or a warranty card. First impressions are positive after removing four links from the bracelet I'm at a darn near perfect fit though I am wearing it a bit sloppy. No worries as I imagine I could pull another link and then micro adjust with the clever diver's extension which is the first I've had in this ratcheting style. The combination of brushed and polished finishes is nicely executed and this sure seems well put together. Bezel is right on and has no slop with firm positive action. The dial is lovely in classic orange with generously lumed and oversized indices. Lined sword hands make it highly legible. I am gonna commit to wearing this one a few days and well see how the movement runs out of the box. Big props to Matt and Courtney for sticking with it and getting this one out.
