 I've owned a Breitling Pluton quartz and it's the best watch i've ever owned. i didn't have the same luck with my Breitling B2. The movement was the Breitling internal movement 17 and that puppy was on steroids. It gained a minute every two to three days.

I have a buddy of mine who has the same watch and it does the same thing. I bought my B2 back in 2002 so maybe something with that particular model.

Issue with sending them to Connecticut to get repaired is that the cost is prohibitive. For example, it would cost me minimun of 450 to do the full service on my pluton which cost me 600 back when i bought it in 92
