Okay, let me add my own 2-cents. For the most part, I don't care for Breitling as the are VERY busy looking...although I do like the Colt GMT Auto. That said, I do own one Brietling that was their signature model back in the early 1990's (I believe mine is circa 1993). The watch has been great, the straps were of inferior quality and outrageously expensive. I finally went to and after-market bracelet which I didn't warm up to. I recently replaced it with a Steve-0 brown leather "coach" style strap which works well. As for the watch itself, I have had no problems. It keeps better time and is more reliable than my (same circa) Rolex GMT II). I have the Windrider Chronomat Model (B13050) pictured below (stock picture)...I also do not believe in "servicing" watches as the cost is virtually the same as repairing them, when and if they fail.
