I was never planning on buying a Megalodon 2. I wasn't on the pre-order or resevation list. Whilst I liked the design and the new dials, I stupidly many months ago sold my custom and unworn first gen Meg. I think it was a one off with its non lume beadblasted bezel and bracelet and choice of hands. Steve even kindly used my picture on the website which really made me overjoyed. So due to sellers remorse I couldn't look at another Meg without wanting my old one back. ![]() I emailed the buyer several times who wouldn't sell it back as he loved the high quality finish and look of the Meg and he was using it as the ideal holiday watch. This was a big compliment as I knew he was the owner of many very high end watches. After several months I was resigned to the fact that I wasn't going to get my watch back so I was going to have to get another, I chose one of the Meg 2's that were left. It was a difficult choice but I chose the yellow dial and PVD version as I liked the contrasting colours: ![]() ![]() ![]() A few days later, rather out of the blue I was able to purchase my Meg back! I was delighted! ![]() Cant wait for news on my bronze Moray 2 to go with the rest of my collection. In my view Benarus watches make for excellent value of money with outstanding customer service that I've never experienced before. Thanks Steve and Ralph for all of your hard work for making such high quality time pieces that I'm certain will be future classics.
