While I am not sure if Steinhart and Debaufre are still the same company or not, I can assure you that their products and the customer service from both entities are absolutely outstanding. While I have never purchased from the Steinhart in Europe, I did purchase from Steinhart USA. They both source their watches from the same manufacturer (as I believe Roberts does), and I can tell you that the 3 watches I have from them are excellent. I currently have the Steinhart Mach1, Debaufre "Wing of Gold" Pilot and the Debaufre NAV-B GMT (not to mention several straps) and never a flaw (well, one strap developed a minor flaw and Debaufre replaced it even though there is no warranty on straps and bracelets).
So, this is my long-winded way of saying you picked a beautiful watch ( once had a very expensive MarcelloC Nettuno GMT like that but it was not nearly as well made)...now that I see yours, I will put a Debaufre Ocean 1 GMT, Black, or Pepsi bezel, on my 2011 wish list!!!
