RIKMEISTER wrote: Well i had been a fan of JOe pa but he has over stayed his welcome in my book. Everyone has to realize when there time has come to go. ANd he is just a stubborn fool much as woody hays was and unfortunely he will have to go the same way kicking and screaming. It was just in the paper that the pres and athletic director gave him only this year to produce or be fired. I think he has done alright so he should pack it in so we can fire his idiot son and move on. Time marches on in all professions. You would not want me to do surgery as was done in 1967 or 68 and i do not want to see him practice his 1968 playbook in 2005. he gets paid millions so now produce. WHen you commmand that much of a salary then i have every right to demand you produce. Remember it is he that is in court to prevent anyone from knowing his salary. SO you can only imagine how high it is. Rick....I think you are right....After watching the Mich. game I finally became a believer that the man is to old. He made some first year coaching mistakes with the final kick off...not going for it on 4th and short, but kick a FG into a strong wind, etc. When a man gets that old his mind doesn't react as quick as it did 10 years ago...therefore we have a problem. I tired of losing the close games that PSU should have and would have won in the past. Joe can stay on as a figure head but turn the team over to a young man who can make the right choices....rant off!!!
