if the MKII had an inner 24hr dial as well as the 24hr rotating bezel you could easily time 3 time zones but it doesn't.... ...I just have to say that Bill makes an awesome watch and of the 2 pictured looks more refined and better built imo ... his prices lately are a bit high imo with all the competition...but his watches are built like tanks.I like his new Mil-Sub GMT which I pointed out in another thread. ...I have had the back off my MKII Stingray and it is built amazing and was half the price of the LRRP second hand and maybe you may want to scout the LRRP on a sales forum...while the last time I had a Steinhart Ocean1 it had a plastic retainer so there are certain items that would make it less expensive. ... both use the same eta 2893...the eta 289X series only has 3 grades...elabore,top and COSC. ...in the end Chick it comes down to what you feel more comfortable with as both have appealing qualities....price being the driving factor imo.
