here is a short tutorial:
I had a similar case here and as you can see I ran it under some hot water for a couple minutes to loosen the insert glue(or you could place the watch in a bowl of hot water)....I then took a sharp knife and easily slid it under the bezel insert and it came off without problem,actually quite easily...took about 5 minutes total.
....I would suggest you remove the movement/dial before doing this unless you feel that Sandoz is actually water resistant.

Rolex style case


under hot water aprox.2 minutes

sharp knife(or xacto knife if you prefer) under insert,quite easy once the glue is soft as the insert actually lifts once the glue softens..

and finally the insert is removed without any probelms or damage to the case or bezel insert.
