sounds like fair price from your local guy ... it would be nearby and done in 3 weeks..no shipping headaches or expenses are always a plus imho.
..IWW,MCWW are 5 weeks min. and that may not include time needed to estimate and find the problem.
..as far as a relume Everest Watch Works is the best but you may be looking at up to 10 wks. there...
..did you jam the movement while setting the date by any chance?
