Ken I agree with you, but unlike yourself I have had several of my non-saph. crystals scratched. I guess I am hard on watches. I also work in a Max. jail. That alone puts my watches threw alot others are not. I have banged up alot on the bars and walls. I am not saying that I'd wear my orsa in the jail, But to me its a piece of mind thing. You point is well taken though.
So.........when were you 1st incarcerated???
My 40 year old Glycine has been thru 2 combat tours in RVN plus serving me well climbing in and out of tanks..........but that is the beauty of acrylic (which so many look on with disdain). It buffs out on a jeweler's wheel in a heartbeat!
Don't know what ORSA would charge, but I'll bet you could change out 3 or 4 minerals for that $110 sapphire upkick charge!
