I picked up this U-Boat 45mm from Ashford.com a month ago and it was a great transaction. I was drawn to the design of this big Italian style, but stuck with 45mm and didn't go with the larger 53mm. One of the things that I couldn't get use to was the bright colored leather strap, so I purchased an Italian rubber strap, cut it, drilled it, sanded it, and got it to fit perfectly with the U-Boat steel piece that I wanted to keep as it is part of the overall design.
