I've been wanting one of these for years but couldn't justify the cost of a new one and always seemed to miss out on the used ones. Well, with WatchRecon making it so easy....the rest is history. Now I can check this one off the list.
I also strongly considered the Steinhart chrono, but the crown and black hands on this one won me over.
It came on a nice quality leather strap, but I think it's going to get a Di-Modell Chronissimo. I like that this one has the solid case back as (IMHO) the standard display back isn't very impressive and the upcharge for the logoed rotor doesn't seem like a good value to me.
This is my first Archimede, probably not my last. I really like the Sport Taucher as well.
The first (good) pics are the sellers pics, last one crummy cell phone pic from me. I tried to resize the pics so they weren't too big. Hope it works.
