Rolf, this is great work and keeps you away from mischief

My fave is #3 in 22mm. Maybe you can try to distress some of your straps through the use of some acid and maybe some sandpapering and emery boards. Can you experiment on gray leather? Can you try a closed-loop with canvass internal linings like the real thing in WWII?

Good hobby....I just don't have the eyes and the patience you guys have
