I've been down to Kennedy Space Flight Center to see a few Delta II launches (best viewed from Cocoa Beach for sure), but never been able to see a Shuttle Launch (missed seeing one by about a week when we were down to see the Delta II launch).
You are right about it probably being your last...there is only one more Shuttle launch scheduled (Shuttle Atlantis scheduled for some time in early July 2011)...the last and final launch with the Shuttle program being shut down forever.
Glad to hear that you were able to see it in person!!!
