Saw the Bulova Precisionist Claremont at Chronoshark for a very good price and jumped on it. Some may remember my enabler.

My order was for the Bulova 96B128 Precisionist Claremont.

Instead I received the Bulova 96B129 Precisionist Claremont.

The vendor caught the error post shipping, contacted me, and now I have the option of keeping this watch or returning it for my original order. I am leaning toward keeping this one as I am a bracelet guy and this is a pretty nice bracelet. The black dial works with anything and I can always get a strap. The list n this watch is obviously higher too. However, there is something about the brown that is so... well... brown. I am curious to hear what my fellow WIS would do in this situation. Please give me your opinions.

A few thoughts. Nice size at 44mm. Very unique multilevel dial. Curved mineral crystal which intergrates nicely and wraps the wrist. Nice combo of well executed finishes. HEQ movement with "Sweeping" second hand. Will determine accuracy. Nice bracelet. As you can see it is super generous...

Some quick pix.

And a link to a short video of the sweep.
