I am really liking this watch. Those that have it, care to post a review/your thoughts having lived with it a few days now?

Does anyone know what grade the ETA movement is? I don't see that information on their website.

I've been wearing this one pretty much exclusively since incoming June 30. Looks to be ~ -5sec/day, I don't know the grade of the mvt.
I'm still just as pleased with the watch as when it arrived, although after the first 5 days there was a small issue:
The edges of the case are fairly sharp, causing raw spot on my wrist bone. I took one of my favorite tools: a 4-sided nail files to the edges, problem solved.
I suspect my ~6.75" wrist has something to do with it...probly not noticed with a bigger wrist, but the edges are sharp.
IMO this watch is a winner: it keeps it simple; modern, but capturing the vintage vibe, the spirit of
the "off-brand" black-dial divers of the 60s and 70s that some of us dig: utility watches with ETA & AS mvts, all-stainless cases, (more than likely produced in Hong Kong) & don't cost a bunch...watches advertised in the backs of skindiver/scuba mags....sharpen your pencil and circle the one(s) you want :)
That's what I think of when I look at the A1, and I like it ThumbsUp02.gif

And what good's a post without pics?

Thanks for the notes on the watch. My wrist is not much bigger about 7" so the sharp edge comment is helpful.

I like the watch for all the reasons you said. The more I look at it, especially your great pics, the more it grows on me. I am thinking I might have to pull the trigger on one soon.

Enjoy your weekend.

Cheers,
Spencer
