My long awaited moVas AG Diver arrived today, and it is pretty awesome!I was happy to see Sean see his ground up project through, although he was faced with a lot of diversity along the way in dealing with his vendors,he continued to bring his unique diver to market. The end result for those of us who hung in there, is a awesome $300. diver with a sweet domed saph, power reserve indicator, which is one of favorite complications, crisp bezel action, and fit & finish to match!. By Seans own admission, the watch needs more tweaking, which he kept us all in the loop along the way, offering us the original rendition if we wanted it,I did, regardless of any problems,he mentioned, like the crown and crown guard being hard to operate, the GMT hand being non-functional, these items are corrected on the new GMTII,which for those of us who hung on with our original orders, will receive for an extra $150...TY Sean! The new crown guard will fit the earlier models like mine,so that will make for easier time setting and winding, a black lume dial to replace my non lume dial, I am happy the way mine is, the stealth matte black dial and lumed hands, which are very bright, look awesome imo. The rubber and leather straps are exceptionally well made, as are the buckles, which included a very sweet dual deployant! The bracelet is a beauty, with scissor style clasp and divers clasp..I will post pics of these along side the very appropriate black packaging everything comes in,also very cool. All in all the moVas AG diver is a nice surprise. Sean managed to get through it,and was a gentleman while doing so.He produced a unique case design and dial, all powered by his Movements of Asia mission.I look forward to the GMT II,but until then,I will enjoy wearing my AG diver, which fits like a glove, and so far the Asian movement is running Swiss! Congrats Sean! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
