You guys in the US are lucky, not being used to pay duties on imports. Here we pay duties on every item imported, regardless of value. The customs people have wised up too! Regardless of value stated on documents, they will do their own internet research and determine a value for tax purposes, unless you can prove an actual transaction via ebay and paypal receipts. Bummer, and that adds to our cost factor, bearing in mind our currency is quite weak against the $, Euro and Sterling.
