That watch looks great in the picture; bet it's even better looking in real life. Good luck on getting it fixed, but based on what you described as the minor marks on the watch, I'd just consider the marks as adding "character." Kind of like when you have a new car and get your first scratch/dent. After the first one, you just enjoy it.
