 8 weeks ago I would have said Schumacher was done and Alonso would run away with the driver's championship. Just goes to show what a putz I am!!

I fully believe this year belongs to Michael. I think him deciding to retire after the season adds a sense of urgency to his quest. He is an awesome driver, perhaps truly better than Senna, but his Teutonic personality has always left me cold.

Should make for an exciting end of the F1 season.
