actually Kazim said it was a metal never used in watches before which to date has been mostly SS...there are actually some carbon steel alloys that only rust superficially,and not deep at all...they are used in Highway lamp posts here in Ohio and once they rust to a nice brown color,do not require any type of maintenance like paint....Cobra Golf has used a 8620 carbon steel in their "trusty rusty" wedges for years,and the look is awesome imho!....Kazim will be sealing whatever metal he is using so any deeper rusting if any will be stopped...so for now I stick to my very simple guess of carbon steel...ThumbsUp02.gif
