Postal service said he has to file a claim
& Brice he did insure it, but what does that do for me.
I posted this for the right purpose & to inquire results /options I may have if any.
Now on some other forums i belong too people r doing the blaming game, "maybe I'm the dishonest 1 here", maybe this, maybe that , I TRULY BELIEVE IT WAS HIM..I'm best friends w/ Bob aka warriorrider here on the above post, & he was w/ me & knows all the selling & saving I did for this purchase.
I also did all my due dilligence on the seller, because I purchase the seller 1st b4 anything & I was a little worried after sending the $$ bcuz it took him hours sometimes days to get back w/ me AFTER I HAD ALREADY WIRED THE $$.
Will here on our forum "the sheriff " said he was ok that he had purchased a watch from him, BUT THAT TOO WAS AFTER I HAD ALLREADY SENT THE $$$. because I was worried & asked Rolf if he knew him then WILL emaild me that he knew him too.
BOTTOM LINE IS I'M OUT ALOT OF $$ (@ least thats alot for me)
if it was insured, and he honestly didn't rip you off as I assume he did not, then he needs to file the claim in order to receive the insurance money, which in turn he refunds to you... as I previously said, you needed to take the package to the PO immediately, shit I would have chased the carrier down,so that it was made clear within minutes that something was wrong.
....if you felt something was wrong after you sent him the funds, then is when you should have done a stop payment...I have stopped paypal payments when I haven't heard back an hour or more after making a deal and paying far less money with someone I am 1st time dealing with.
I don't believe anyone here chastised you, rather good advice from WIS who have been around for many years.
