I agree completely. Bring on the unique watches! I would welcome having one that is not the same as all the others and would not mind at all some variation in the look. If you're making 50 watches for instance, I think just showing a series of quick snapshots illustrating the variation would be plenty to give people the idea of what they are getting. There is no need for expensive and time consuming professional product pics of each and every one. Your customers will understand they are getting something similar but slightly different than the basic model shown. I don't think there would be any disappointment if that is made clear from the start. Don't give up! ;)
