I got this Traser Thursday. Darn nice watch for the money I paid. I used to own a number of Luminox watches and I wanted to have one again. So, I tried Traser this time. On first impression, the Traser is better made with greater precision. The second hand actually hits the seconds marks on the button. None of my Luminox's did that. It always bugged me. The bracelet feels a bit less substantial, but it was super easy to size and wears well on the wrist. Solid end links are used and it has an engraved clasp. Its just not as supple as I'd like (such as my Seiko Knights). 316 surgical steel case size is 43mm, 22mm lugs. Sapphire crystal, and nicely done dial work too. Battery life should be 4-5 years. The luminous gas tubes are good for 25 years. I seem to remember the brightness being a bit better on my luminox watches (one model in particular). But, in a dark room the time is very legible and easy to see. The dot at 12 o'clock is a nice feature. All-in-all, it is a very well built watch. I can see why the brand is so popular with military, police, etc. It looks like it could take some abuse. I am very happy with it. Attachment: trasernew.jpg (Downloaded 142 times)
